Important: Some laptop models use more than one type of screen. The screen could be CCFL (using inverter pcb) or an LED with data connector at different locations, depending on the model of the screen. The best practice is to remove the broken/faulty screen from your laptop and get part number or model number from the back of the screen and the position of the data cable connector.

Note: Please disconnect the battery, plug in Data Cable and test the screen with power from your ac adapter before fitting it in the laptop. Do remember to re-connect the battery again when the screen is finally fitted in the laptop.
